Notice: The laws change from State to State however in some states, the defaulted tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus canceling the auction up until the cash payment is received from the winning bidder.
Additional Terms: NOTICE TO BUYERS & BIDDERS: Upon winning a storage space, you must contact the office immediately at 402-435-0085. You need to arrange payment via cash or credit card (Visa/MC/Amex/Discover). You will receive a gate code to access the property to remove the contents of the space. Access hours are 6 am to 10 pm and you will have until Sunday at 9:59 pm to clean out the space. Our office is NOT open on Sundays, so contact and payment & receipt of $100 CASH deposit and securing the unit with your own lock must be completed by Saturday before 3:00 pm CST. Buyer must remove ALL property from the storage space. THERE IS NO DUMPSTER ON THE PROPERTY... YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING EVERYTHING FROM THE UNIT. If all items are not removed from the space by 9:59 pm on Sunday, the buyer forfeits the $100 CASH cleaning deposit. Lincoln Self Storage also reserves the right to charge any cleaning and disposal fees above the $100 deposit. Any remaining property left in the storage space after the above date will become the property of Lincoln Self Storage. It is the Buyers responsibility to immediately return any personal and military items they find in the storage space. Items include family photos, financial records, legal documents, etc. Any military items must be returned to the office to be picked up by the local National Guard. Lincoln Self Storage reserves the right to cancel any auction if the bids are deemed unreasonable. Bidders must be at least 18 years old. Landlords, officers, members, partners and employees shall not be liable whatsoever to any extent to Buyer or Buyers invitees, family or others for any personal injury or death arising from Buyers use of the storage space or premises from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, the active or passive acts or omissions or negligence of Landlord, or respective agents, officers, or employees. If you are a current tenant at Lincoln Self Storage, and your account has a past due balance, your $100 cleaning deposit may be applied to your past due balance.
