The nippon sharyo is a articulated rail car and we have 4 available for bid. The Nippon Sharyo is capable of carrying 76 passengers in air conditioned comfort. Length of car is 87 feet ,width 8 feet, height 11.6 weight 94160. Pounds. The power axle assemblies have been overhauled recently . Many operators in the Los Angeles rail system rave about the performance and reliability of the nippon sharyo. Most are terribly sad to see them go. Each unit features automatic train control. These railcars are adored by the citizens of California. They will be available March when they are taken out of commission. Would make a great addition to any city in the world that is looking for affordable transportation for its citizens and taxpayers.
