Notice: The laws change from State to State however in some states, the defaulted tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus canceling the auction up until the cash payment is received from the winning bidder.
Additional Terms: NOTICE TO BUYERS & BIDDERS: We cannot guarantee the condition of the items in the storage unit. All photos are taken from the outside of the unit, and no items are inspected inside the unit. Upon winning a storage space, you must contact the office immediately at 620-327-2409 to pay the winning bid amount. The sale is not final until the bid has been paid, and the property has been removed from the storage space. You need to arrange payment via cash or credit card. Access hours are 7:30am-9 pm and you will have 72 Hrs. from end of auction to clean out the space. Contact and payment must be made immediately at the end auction. The buyer must remove all property from the storage space. If all items are not removed and the space is not swept cleaned 72 hrs. after the end of auction, the buyer forfeits the $125 cleaning deposit. Country Storage of Hesston also reserves the right to charge any cleaning and disposal fees above the $125 deposit. Any remaining property left in the storage space after the above date will become the property of Country Storage of Hesston. It is the Buyer's responsibility to immediately return any personal and military items they find in the storage space. Items include family photos, financial records, legal documents, etc. Any military items must be returned to the office to be picked up by the local National Guard. Country Storage of Hesston reserves the right to cancel any auction for any reason. Bidders must be at least 18 years old. Landlords, officers, members, partners, and employees shall not be liable whatsoever to any extent to Buyer or Buyer's invitees, family or others for any personal injury or death arising from Buyer's use of the storage space or premises from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, the active or passive acts or omissions or negligence of Landlord, or respective agents, officers, or employees. If you are the winning bidder and a current tenant at Country Storage of Hesston, and your account has a past due balance, your $100 cleaning deposit may be applied to your past due balance.
