Notice: The laws change from State to State however in some states, the defaulted tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus canceling the auction up until the cash payment is received from the winning bidder.
Additional Terms: Winning bidder must contact the facility by 9:00 am Central time the same day as auction close. Upon winning notification, Winning Bidder is to email their confirmation email from StorageAuctions.net along with a picture of their government issued photo ID to streamlinedselfstorage@gmail.com, then call the office at 319-536-3535 to confirm the day and time to pay and remove all items in the unit. A. RELEASE OF OWNER'S LIABILITY FOR BODILY INJURY: Owner, Owner's agents and employees shall not be liable to Winning Bidder, invitees, employees, or guests for injury or death as a result of the use of the Space or the Facility, even if such injury is caused by the active or passive acts or omissions or negligence of the Owner, Owner's agents, or employees. B. REMOVAL OF CONTENTS: Winning bidder must pay the $100 Cleaning Deposit and Winning Bid Amount in full before gaining access to the storage unit. All items in the storage unit must be removed. The storage unit must be clean and verified by the property manager in order for the deposit to be returned. Use of the property dumpster or surrounding area is strictly prohibited and will result in forfeit of deposit. Access is between 6am and 10pm on the dates agreed upon and listed in Section 1D of the Auction Deposit Receipt. Winning Bidder is to notify the property manager when the unit has been cleaned out so the inspection can commence. C. PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT: Payment must be in cash or Venmo. Deposit payment and Winning Bid amount are to be two separate payments. A deposit paid will only be returned, if manager's inspection is passed, to the Winning Bidder with matching ID provided in the email with the Winning Bidder's confirmation number.
