Notice: The laws change from State to State however in some states, the defaulted tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus canceling the auction up until the cash payment is received from the winning bidder.
Additional Terms: NOTICE TO BUYERS & BIDDERS: We cannot guarantee the condition of the items in the storage unit. All photos are taken from the outside of the unit and no items are inspected inside the unit. Upon winning a storage space, you must contact the office immediately at 402-421-9300 to pay the winning bid amount. The sale is not final until the bid has been paid and the property has been removed from the storage space. You need to arrange payment via cash or credit card (Visa/MC/Amex). You will receive a gate code to access the property to remove the contents of the space. Access hours are 6 am-10 pm and you will have until Sunday at 10 pm to clean out the space. Contact and payment must be made by the end of the auction day. The buyer must remove all property from the storage space. If all items are not removed and the space is not swept cleaned by 10 pm on Sunday, the buyer forfeits the $100 cleaning deposit. Big Red Self Storage also reserves the right to charge any cleaning and disposal fees above the $100 deposit. Any remaining property left in the storage space after the above date will become the property of Big Red Self Storage. It is the Buyer???s responsibility to immediately return any personal and military items they find in the storage space. Items include family photos, financial records, legal documents, etc. Any military items must be returned to the office to be picked up by the local National Guard. Big Red Self Storage reserves the right to cancel any auction if the bids are deemed unreasonable. Bidders must be at least 18 years old. Landlords, officers, members, partners, and employees shall not be liable whatsoever to any extent to Buyer or Buyer???s invitees, family or others for any personal injury or death arising from Buyer???s use of the storage space or premises from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, the active or passive acts or omissions or negligence of Landlord, or respective agents, officers, or employees. If you are the winning bidder and a current tenant at Big Red Self Storage, and your account has a past due balance, your $100 cleaning deposit may be applied to your past due balance.
